I’ve known the Hunter family for about 5 years, but my husband grew up with them. When Sharon told me that the whole family was going to be in for Christmas, and they wanted some pictures on their property, I was super excited. We had a small window when everyone was going to be together, so we made plans for a morning session on Friday.
Here in Alabama, we are in the midst of a rainy season, and as the day grew closer the forecast only seemed to be looking wetter. We rescheduled for Saturday morning prayed that the rain would move out by then. Thankfully, the rain came in a day earlier than expected, and Saturday morning was sunny, albeit chilly.
Large families can be challenging, but the Hunters were so easy to work with. They were super flexible about locations and groupings. I had a fantastic time spending my Saturday morning with the gang, and I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from this winter family session,
The bond between grandparents and their grandchildren sure is special. I’m not even sure how we got the whole bunch (including the dog) to look at the camera at the same time! It might have had something to do with the Rudolph nose that I was wearing to keep the kids’ attention.
Even the neighbor’s horse and the family dog, Rolo, got in on pictures! At one point, there was even a cat trying to sneak his way into the pictures 🙂
